Having bred Australian Donkeys and tamed wild donkeys direct from the wild for over 45 years now, the knowledge and expertise that comes with your purchase of a lifelong companion in the form of a donkey, will be invaluable to you.

When purchasing a new farm and again establishing a breeding facility we were fascinated by the emergence of the Mediterranean breed and decided to pursue establishing a quality herd for breeding.

With all our herd having direct parentage to American bred Sires and Dams we continue to improve our stud lines with the introduction of new stock.

Our herd has increased to 40 breeding Jennies and 2 stud Jacks imported from America at the moment, with foals available for purchase immediately at birth.

 

Miniature Galloway cattle are a smaller version of the popular Galloway breed, prized for their hardiness, gentle temperament, and ease of management. They offer the same desirable characteristics as traditional Galloways but in a more compact size, making them suitable for smaller properties and hobby farms. 

Key Characteristics:
    • Size:

      Miniature Galloway bulls reach a maximum height of 125cm at the hip, while cows are typically 120cm or less. 

    • Coat:

      They have the characteristic double coat of Galloways, providing insulation in various climates. 

  • Temperament:

    Known for their docile and quiet nature, making them easy to handle. 

  • Fertility:

    Miniature Galloway cows are highly fertile and consistently produce healthy calves. 

  • Grazing:

    They are efficient grazers, able to thrive on a variety of forage, even in less-than-ideal conditions. 

  • Colors:

    Miniature Galloways come in black, dun, red, and white, with belted variations also available. 

  • History:

    Miniature Galloways have been selectively bred to maintain the breed’s desirable traits while achieving a smaller size.
